Home prices to continue rising next year!
Far from being a shadow of the USA, it is the French and British traditions that give Canada its complex three dimensional character. Canada’s wild northern frontier, which has etched itself into the national psyche, and its distinct patchwork of peoples have created a cultured environment that some say is decidedly different from its modern neighbour.
Canada has four distinct seasons, although their arrival times vary across the country. The single most significant factor in climate is latitude. As a rule of thumb, it gets colder the further north you go, so it’s no accident that the south is more populated. The western and eastern coasts are both very wet, though much of the rain falls during winter. Canada came to light for property investors and holiday home purchasers from the UK as far back as 10 years ago. With a sound and stable economy the property market has shown consistency over the last five years. Property prices in the main cities has risen to all time heights in the last two years and it is widely considered that the mountain resorts will follow suit, with more tourists than ever visiting the un-spoilt beauty and world class facilities of areas like Mont Tremblant and Mont Saint Sauveur.
