Egyptian Pearl
Location
Hurghada is the small but rapidly growing capital of the Red Sea Region, about 400km from Cairo. The area
surrounding the resort is the quickest developing region in Egypt currently, rapidly developing into strong
opposition for many overpriced Mediterranean locations. Hurghada is one of the world’s best coral diving sites
and was voted by Diver magazine “the best place in the world to
learn to dive.”
For Hurghada the growth of tourism has been even more pronounced than in Egypt as a whole, in the early
1990’s Hurghada was little more than a small fishing town, it is now one of the most developed resorts in Egypt,
with an international airport welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. The Egyptian government
are keen to see this overseas investment continue and are pouring money into the local infrastructure and
services; as well as the improvements made to the airport the roads in Hurghada are easily the equal to roads
across the developed world.
In addition to the world class diving Hurghada is also forging a reputation for its fantastic nightlife with a
Ministry of Sound night club as well as the world’s first Hed Kandi Beach Bar and hundreds of other bars, clubs,
cafés and a wide selection of restaurants. All of these improvements will continue to stimulate the local property
market, offering continued, consistent and significant capital growth and rental yields for years to come!
